How much does house cleaning cost?

At Happy Haven, pricing depends on your home’s square footage and the type of cleaning you choose. We’ll let you know before you book an appointment how much the service will be so you know exactly what to expect. We offer high quality cleaning services at competitive rates for the Tampa Bay area, which reflect our commitment and promise of thorough, dependable, and honest cleaning. What’s included in house cleaning services?

That’s determined by what type of cleaning you choose. Some individual services, like inside oven cleaning or pantry cleaning can be added to the Standard Clean for an additional cost.  

Standard Cleaning includes: Vacuum/sweep and mop all floors, wipe down all countertops, exterior cabinets & appliance surfaces, clean microwave inside/outside, clean & disinfect all sinks, tubs/showers & toilets, dust & polish furniture surfaces, wipe & disinfect doorknobs & light switches, clean all mirrors, and empty trash. 

Deep Cleaning includes: Everything in a Standard Cleaning PLUS…Clean/dust all baseboards, ceiling fans, blinds & air vents, wipe down walls, doors & door-frames, clean inside windows & sills, clean inside refrigerator & oven, and vacuum upholstered furniture.  

Move In-Move Out Cleaning includes: Everything in Standard and Deep Cleaning PLUS…Clean/wipe out inside of all cabinets & drawers, clean on top of cabinets, clean glass light fixtures, clean washer & dryer, spackle small nail holes in walls, spot clean carpet by hand if needed (we don’t shampoo carpets).  

How long will it take to have my home cleaned?

The time it takes for a cleaning will depend on the size of your home and the scope of the job. Larger homes take longer to clean than smaller homes, apartments, or condos. Deep cleanings and Move In-Move Out cleanings take longer than Standard Weekly or Bi-Weekly cleanings due the amount of surfaces and depth of cleaning performed. Typically a Standard Cleaning takes 2-4 hours, a Deep Cleaning 4-7 hours, and Move In-Move Out is 8+ hours, all depending on the size and condition of your home.

Does Happy Haven bring cleaning supplies & tools, or do you use the clients supplies?

Yes! We bring all the supplies and tools needed to make your home sparkle. We even use separate vacuums for homes with pets to keep things extra fresh. Our team chooses material-safe, eco-friendly, and pet-friendly products, and we’ll always check ahead of time about any allergies or scent sensitivities. Prefer us to use your own cleaners or tools? No problem—we’re happy to work with what makes you most comfortable. Just let us know when you book.

Is it worth the cost to hire a house cleaner?

Absolutely! A professional cleaning saves you time, reduces stress, and keeps your home feeling fresh—so you can focus on the things you love, like family outings, hobbies, vacations, and peaceful, relaxing time in your clean home.

What if I need to cancel my cleaning?

Life happens! We just ask for 48 hours notice to cancel without a fee, or 24 hours to reschedule. Last-minute cancellations may have a $50 fee.

Is Happy Haven House Cleaning pet friendly?

Yes—we love pets! We’ll work carefully around your furry (or feathered) family members to keep them safe and comfortable. We use pet-friendly cleaners.

What cities does Happy Haven House Cleaning service?

We proudly serve North & Central Pinellas County, Southwest Pasco County, and Northwest Hillsborough County, Florida. That includes Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Clearwater, Safety Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Ozona, Oldsmar, East Lake, Belleair, Largo, Holiday, New Port Richey, Odessa, Trinity, Keystone, Westchase, and Town & Country.

Do you clear the clutter or move furniture?

No, we don’t move furniture or clear out clutter, but we’ll clean around items with care. We prefer that any clutter, especially on countertops, is picked up before arriving so we can maximize our time and give your home a through cleaning.

Do you clean front porches, lanais, or outside spaces ?

No, we do not clean any outside spaces, nor do we clean window exteriors. In addition, we will do our best to clean as high as we can inside but our insurance policy only allows us to go up so many feet on a step ladder for safety reasons.

Do I need to be home while you clean my house?

Nope! Many clients provide a key, keypad, or garage code so we can get in and get to work. Should you live in a gated community, we will also need the gate access code if you will not be home. However, if you want to be home while we clean, that is perfectly fine too. We will do our best to not disturb you while we are cleaning. The choice is yours!

When is payment due for cleaning services?

Payment in full is due once your cleaning is complete and your home is sparkling. We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. We typically do not invoice since payment is due when services are rendered. However, we are happy to provide you with a receipt for cleaning services should you need it.
